About
Founded in 1982, HI (Handicap International) has grown into a worldwide humanitarian network. It now works in about 60 countries, initially in refugee camps and later in emergencies, reconstruction and development contexts The HI network comprises a central Federation (established 2009) and eight national associations (Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland, UK, US) which together deliver aid and development programs globally
