Established during Ahmad Shah Baba’s reign and formally modernized in 1298 Solar Year, the Ministry of Finance has been central to Afghanistan’s financial governance for over a century. Today, MoF plays a vital role in mobilizing resources, promoting good governance, managing public wealth, and implementing financial reforms in line with international standards. Its vision is to create a stable and financially self-sufficient Afghanistan through transparency, fiscal discipline, and effective economic management.
