About
There are over 18 nationalities represented in our permanent team of 50+ staff. We are based in the contexts we study. We believe that long-term, sustainable impact depends on committing to a presence in country, and developing local expertise and research capacity. With offices in Afghanistan (Kabul), Germany (Berlin), Kenya (Nairobi), Netherlands (The Hague), Tunisia (Tunis) and the United Arab Emirates (Dubai), our team is composed of researchers, managers, and operations staff who make it possible for us to operate in some of the world’s most challenging environments while maintaining high standards of research. The profiles of some of our local colleagues have been kept private for safety purposes. Samuel Hall’s core team of researchers, operations and partnerships teams make what we do possible. To further our mission of connecting the voices of change makers worldwide to societies, we have launched the Samuel Hall Fellowship, through which we recognize dynamic and exceptional colleagues, partners and other individuals - including local, refugee and other migrant researchers from Nigeria, South Sudan, Somalia, Kenya, Europe, India and Australia.
